Dhadley,

You probably won't remember me but I made some posts about a year ago which you responded to and offered some great advice to me.

I would like to speak to you off-list about something that may be of interest to you if that's possible. I have found a small but successful manfacturer of motorcycle performance parts who wants to start making certain products for OMC and other types of outboards. These would compete against existing products which I'm pretty sure you use.

They already have a few prototype parts ready to test but I can only test a couple of them with the boats/engines I have access to. I was hoping you'd be willing to help with the testing as well and could perhaps provide some technical advice and/or design suggestions to the manufacturer. In return, I'm sure you'd at least get some free parts (which is what I'm getting) out of it. There might also be some other opportunities that could come out of it later on if the manufacturer is successful taking these products to market but we'll both just have to wait and see what happens for now.

To contact me by e-mail just take the non numeric characters out of my iBoats name and add @telus.net to the result. (roj@.....). (I know this is cryptic but I don't want my e-mail addy being picked up by dozens of spam-bots.)

I'll fill you in on the rest of the details after you've contacted me.

Sorry to be so "secretive" about this but I don't want to be starting any unfounded rumours about this manufacturer making parts for OMC and outboards until things look a lot more certain that they're going to be able to produce them and have decided that they're really interested in going into that market sector.

Thanks,

Roj
