Metal tag on carburetor what is it ?? 86-70hp

I recently bought a boat with a Johnson 86-70 HP motor. There is a
metal tag on each carburetor. Does this mean a modification or what??
The tag indicates :
431705
MX

That is simply the part number of the carburetor. However part number 431705 has since been upgraded to part number 439423. Your number indicates no modification.
