MFG boat info.

Hello all. I am new here. I just purchased a wonderful find (IMHO).

1974 MFG gypsy w/50hp. Merc. outboard.

I purchased it from the original owner who was very meticulous and babied this boat throughout ownership. Stored indoors every off season, all maintenance was A+ and regular. Brand new seats and carpet and this boat looks virtually new. Needless to say, if it wasnt for the the type of person that owned and maintained this boat, I wouldnt have bought it.

Does anybody have any first hand info. about the MFG boat brand?
I am all ears and looking forward to sharing info!

There is a MFG forum here, check that out, and also see fiberglassics.com, as they have a section on MFG too.

Nice find being garaged. MFG's were well built boats, thats why there are so many from the 60's and 70's still around. Especially in the north east, because the plant was in PA.
