A just acquired an old MFG Gypsy 12' bowrider and it is in pretty decent shape. I believe it is from 1977. Deck and transom seem solid and I have yet to find even a spider crack on the outside of the hull. To my surprise, I found no results on the forum for MFG. Does anyone have any knowledge about these boats? Anyone know how the stringers were glassed? I know they were sold at Sears back in the day, but that's really all I know. Any negative comments about the brand are welcome too. I don't even know if I plan to keep the thing. Thanks.
