Hi I have a Gypsy 15 that I am restoring I have just replaced the decking with marine ply covered with fiber glass to make it water tight. There is a well at the stern with the drain hole at the bottom, and a hole on each side that will let water under the decking. Should there be a drain plug or should the two holes to the side be blocked makig the under deck a sealed unit, and the boat auto drain, or should they be left and a plug put in the drain hole ?
Any help please:confused:

Re: MFG Gypsy 15 drain plug

My MFG regal has that same little well at the stern, only has the one drain plug at the transom, there is a plug on the outside real low on the transom that drains the below decking area, I think your side holes should be plugged.
