Michigan Match? Anybody have an opinion on them?

Anybody ever try a Michigan Match SS prop. I'm looking at a 13.25 x 17 for $170.00 thats pretty cheap and I'm only going to use it for a secondary prop for running when I'm loaded heavy. I'm currently running a 13 x 19 and with a light load it's just about right just a little sluggish on the hole shot to get to plane.

A second option would be to go with an aluminum as a secondary prop. Opinions welcomed

I have a couple of them in 17 and 19 pitch for my Chryslers. They are a nicely made prop--nothing too fancy-- and do the job. Nicely shaped blades if you care about that. They only come cupped. I do much the same thing. I use my 13 X 19 for general cruising but switch to the 13 X 17 for water skiing.

Michigan Match props are fine, as Frank says. I have used them alot in my 30+ years of boating. Michigan props have been making props for as long as I remember.
