Are the Stainless Steel props made by Michigan Wheel any good? This would be the Michigan Match series (black ones)

Can I expect a performace improvement over the same size alum prop from Michigan?

Sorry for the vagueness of the question but I have a chance to pick one up for what appears to be a good price - for SS anyway. So I just what to know if it would be a good idea. I also have a line on a similar sized aluminum.

Re: Michigan Props

Michigan is a decent wheel, if your aluminium was ok, & you get the same size & pitch, you should see a little performance Gain from a S.S. Prop. Is the prop you have now a SS or aluminium? If you are going to keep one for a spare no need for the expense of 2 SS props, unless it is really a good price, or if you use the boat for more than one purpose. As in sking, & crusing, where you would want different performance from each prop. IMHO Good Luck, Joe
