Hi all
Hate to ramble on about this, but as some will have read, I had such amazingly unexpected results with the ballistic propeller, the very helpful UK dealer called up to ask how I got on. I told him all about the extra lift and speed gained etc etc and sent him a video.
Next thing, the marketing manager for the UK emailed me and asked if she could do a wee feature/testimonial on my boat and new prop. Delighted !
Means a bit of hard graft getting her all polished up etc, but will be nice to see this and feel genuinely quite flattered ! Special wee boat. Haha.
Honestly now...if you have any sort of performance inclined 18ft (or similar) bowrider boat and enough power to turn it...get a ballistic.
Jimbo...you instantly come to mind. Can't remember if you said you had tried one or not. Defo worth the punt.

Maybe make the polishing up of the boat part of the deal to feature the boat

Don't let the pride of being featured get in the way of your pocket book. What's in it for you to help them sell props?

I had borrowed a Ballistic from a dealer in 1999 to try on my previous 18 footer with a 150 Fucht. I have always been lucky enough be able to grab a prop out of the dealers inventory and give them a try. I was borrowing a variety of props of all makes, Stilleto, Viper, Raker, Ballistic, Rapture, and some I don't remember. The Ballistic performed OK but I settled on the Raker, though I had considered the Stilleto. Still have that Raker, rehubbed it to fit my VP, used it for 4 yrs till I got the Enertia.
Glad you found a prop that works well for your setup, and congrats on the feature

GA....my old man and friends said the same thing...haha.
Jimbo....man....all you have done is make me think about more props !
Had a true GPs speed run tonight (sitting on the boat now) and managed 62.3 mph with the hood up, lots of **** on the boat and still have the unused wake tower on.
Still managed to get hammered by my friends Fletcher arrowbeau with a big yamaha 225 2 stroke though ! What a machine they are.
For those across the pond, they are amazing solid built uk boats and would likely rival any hydro stream or the likes. He clocked 72 mph tonight without trying too hard. Also runs a ballistic.
The hood and wake tower are coming off my boat tomorrow and hopefully expecting 65+ gps speed.
