Does anyone have any feedback on the XHS hub kit from Michigan Wheel? Specifically, are they reliable? I've seen a couple of posts on the 'net that stated these hub kits spin free at will. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

We sell them, they seem to be as reliable as the Merc. Flo-Torque kits. The early version of the XHS kit had a bad batch of the material that they are made of, and was not very reliable. But the kits that are out now are good to go.

I've had two different Michigan Vortex props on the same hub with no problems. Great insurance for your lower unit.

Sweet. I've got my new prop waiting at home for me to put it on this Saturday. However, my wife opened it for me today, and what do ya know? Michigan Wheel put the WRONG sticker on the box!! Not only was the prop the wrong pitch, it was missing a blade! Ughh... My dealer is checking in to getting one over-nighted by tomorrow. I know there has to be a "Screw-me" sign on my back...

When they become available, try the new Solas hub kit. the brass is incased in solid rubber, unlike the delrin sleeve-type. I'm testing a couple of the proto's now...I'm very impressed so far. They are almost as good as the TTLOK Turbo hub kits in that they allow alot of flex instead of clunk.
