Mid 80s Aquasport

I found a mid-80s 24'6" Aquasport center console. It has a 1997 225 Merc. It appears to be in good shape, does anyone have any advice about mid-80s Aquasports?? <br />Any known defects, reliability, strength??<br />I would appreciate any input.

Good boat, good engine-thirsty. Boat is heavy.<br /><br />Aquasport has a loyal following. Search the i'net for clubs.

I own a 28 foot Aquasport (1988). They are very solid boats. My only complaint is that they are a wet riding boat in seas of any size. Also look for soft spots on the floor. If you don't have them by now you never will!<br /><br />Good luck.
