Mid-Ship Bilge Pump?

Newbe here again. I'm I to assume correctly that the mid-ship bilge pump on my 2002 Pro works only on a float switch? No switch on control panel.

Float switch only

Rinse and test that area every once in a while. Stays pretty dry in there.

Once had a split shot sinker jam up the switch so get rid of any debris and

keep clean so when you need that pump one day it will be ready.
