Hi all - the gasket around the tank cover has crumbled off, and I need a new one of those and think I should replace the double line hose, and maybe some gaskets too - I see there are a lot of those involved. The brass connectors are in good shape - but I can't see inside. Is there a gasket or o-ring to replace in there? The tank looks like hell but I cleaned out the inside, there's no rust or crud in the bottom. I'm so glad the connectors work - they're $135!! EACH!! I can get single line hose at the auto parts store and ziptie it together (ay-yi-yi) or pay $4/ft for new double line. Does any one have a nice simple solution? I've been "told" I can cut my own gasket out of sheet rubber...any opinions?

Re: Mile Master pressurized gas tank repair

great to see you back leslie! you can get the kit to rebuild the tank, and it is no issue , other than cosmetic, to use single lines zip tied together. ( i would look into converting to fuel pump tho)
