Does anyone have a source for a replacement 3pin snap connector for the Johson Mile Master tank hoses? I have an ?1960's 5.5hp in great condition but the connector leaks gas and air.
Riverbridge<br /><br />You can replace the small o-rings inside the fuel connectors. They have to be picked out...a tool such as a dental pick works as good as any...oil the new o-ring(s) & work them back into the groove, being careful not to nick them.
Thanks Slow Boat. The guy at the marina said he didn't think replacing the O rings would fix the problem and he didn't have a source for a new connector. Maybe he was just trying to sell me a new motor?
