Hey everyone. I have a 2.5 liter omc in a 1984 starcraft. I initially learned and since confirmed a blown freeze plug. Pulled engine and outdrive. While awaiting on new plug decided to drain oil (see photo of empty oil in pan). Cant see any visiable cracks in block? Any thoughts as to where to look for problem? Could it have been from the freeze plug? The plug that was popped out was on the top back of engine?

.......................You will like the way that boat will run with your new engine. I hate to tell ya ..... but.....um........... it appears your engine may have suffered major freeze damage, a new freeze [ misnomer ] plug isnt gonna do it....
