I have a 1970 johnson 25 hp.i just got the boat and I ran the motor in a drum for about a hour.when I pulled it out I seen a milky oil leaking out of the weep hole near the fill plug.so I drained the foot oil and it was a orangeish color.it looked good to me.no water in the lower unit.should I be worried? I know the gas is mixed a little rich but no worry’s will fix that later.

Oil that is mixed with the gasoline has to go somewhere.------Some of it actually goes right through the motor.---It is 100% wasted out the exhaust ports.----You see that as sludge in your tank and leaking out the weep hole.----Check the thermostat as they are often stuck open or missing.----Install a new water pump impeller if you do not know how old yours is !!
