I have one that blew a grid resistor, now welders are not my first line of things to work on! I have been told that when this resistor blows it is because something else blew, and it cost over $700.00 for the part. I dont want to watch a $700+ part go up in smoke!! The welder that was using it at the time said it just got cold. Anyone work on welders? Got any thoughts as to what else I need to check? Or maybe a print?

Yours was built in the 2nd half of 1993.

Here's a link to the owners manual. Wiring schematics start on pg. 18 ........ replacement parts on pg. 26.

This manual covers your s/n even though it shows a KC # on the front.

If you know how, I'd start with checking the diodes.

Good luck.
