Minn Kota Maxxum 74T

The motor is not working on all speeds. I would guess that some of the contacts are dirty, right or wrong?
Is this something that I can do?
What about the armature? How hard is it to clean?
Do you know where I can get a schmatic of the motor?

3) What about the armature? [What about it? It works so therefore not an issue.]
4) How hard is it to clean? [Depends on your ability.]
5) Do you know where I can get a schmatic of the motor? [From MinnKota (if you are lucky). If not -- how about here (scroll down).]

By the way -- you could have had this parts list and wiring diagram in 30 seconds had you done a Google or Yahoo search using the uncomplicated search term "Minnkota Maxxum 74T Wiring Diagram".

If your asking if the contacts can be corroded, yes they can. But if your asking then you havent checked them, so do that.
Then you jump to wiring schmatic's, If you haven't checked the easy stuff, the hard stuff is not where you start.

Is the battery charged?????
