I am buying a trolling motor for my canoe. Which do you think is a better motor, the Minn Kota Endura (30 pound thrust) or the Motor Guide (34 pound thrust). They both cost about $100.
Stalker

There's not a great deal of technology in motors that size so you would be fairly safe with either one. I think you'll find MinnKota has a little better reputation.

Buy the one with the extendable handle . . . that's about the only noteable difference in the lower end transom mounts . . . but when you move up to a foot control, it all comes down to the bracket . . . they're both fine motors.

CC
