Hi All, Searched hard here, and not seeing on MK site...Can someone tell me the power ratings for the Autopilot 55 (ver 1).... Amps Watts or whatever may be listed? Thanks in advance.

Maximum current draw is 45A so a 50A breaker is required. P=ExI so P=12.6 x 45 = 567 Watts. Current draw with a stalled rotor on the highest speed setting will exceed the breaker rating so it will open. 6 gauge wire is adequate for a normal run from the battery to the bow. If you are asking about current draw to decide on a battery size -- just buy a battery with the highest capacity deep cycle you have room for.

Although I am a little befuddled by the "highest speed setting will exceed the rating so it will open"...I have run 6-8 hours full speed, use a 50A breaker, and 10G for 10 feet (battery midship) it melted the marinco 3 prong quick disconnect from a 7 foot line. Then 3 feet to battery. 10 overall. Therefore I removed the quick disconnect from the program, went right to breaker, then to battery, same 10 feet and went with 8G. Thinking I shoulda gone 6, but figured what the hell, these quick disconnects are not made for river and kokanee trolling (8 hour days). More for bass and MOM use for lack of better words is my guess. I cant stand the thought of buying a kicker and GAS. Just hoping I dont see any breaker issues ever. But now that you mention it I will be glad to know WHY if it happens
