Minn Kota SS 3HP Diagram

Hello,

I have made various repairs to this motor, last year, I had to resecure a magnet. Tonight, I had to resecure the other one. However, I managed to knock out a few washers off of the shaft and I am not 100% sure where they go or what order. I have two steel washers and a flat black nylon flimsy kind.
. I have tried to look at Minn Kota diagrams for other motors but they have extra washers where I don't so I think I really need the one for this motor.

Also, in the top where the speed control goes, there is a triangle piece of plastic that I thought was symmetrical. It is not. How do I determine the proper orientation ? It is a continuous speed motor not 5 speed.

Really need some help here, otherwise I guess it’s going to be trial and error. Lol.

Years back I had some issues with my Minn Kota trolling motor, could not get any information from MK themselves, but an onging search gave me a link to "Johnson Electrics", the actual link is long lost on my old computor, but the folks there were very helpfull and sold me the parts I needed. Not sure if they are still there, but look for a connection to see if this might help. Wish I could be of more help.

So I got it all back together. It’s not working though. It was making a wierd popping buzzing noise from the white boxes on the image. It was doing this yesterday before I noticed the magnet having come loose. Magnet is secure. Motor rotates freely there.

Anyone interested in helping me troubleshoot this? I have a ton of tools to troubleshoot but I don’t know much about the electronics to be able to know what to do.
