minn kota trolling motor prop

I just bought an older bass boat. Is an 1982 bass tracker. Has the original minn kota 565 trolling motor on it. My question is does anyone know where a person can get a prop for one that old and that style? Is held on with a kotter pin of all things.<br />Any info would be greatly appreciated.<br />Thanks a lot.

Hi r8rfan. <br /><br />Props for these minn kota's are still available. Might check in i-boats store. May be there. If you have taken the prop off, you will notice a drive pin inside. The cotter key just retains the prop to the shaft. Works. No problem.

Just looked at i-boats store.<br /><br />What you need is a MKP-6 prop. #2061125. $17.54.<br />Take a look.
