Minn Kota Trolling problem goes in Circle

I bought a Minn Kota Edge TM 3 or 4 months back and just got it put on. Last week went to lake started using it around some trees working just find. Then went to leave and it started going around in a circle and the arrow showing opposite direction. After going aroung twice it started back going right, What gives ? It did this the other night also.

Sounds like you might have had it in reverse but it straightened itself out. Did you have the bottom (heel end) of the foot pedal all the way down?
