I have a minn kota 24 volt serial# mkaa1652226 maxxum 65t tilt tiller. I bought it used 2 years ago. It ran great until the end of bass season this year. I lost reverse. It drives normally in foward. I have all the variable speeds, it just won't go reverse. I took it apart to see if I could clean up some dirty connections, but there was a clean circut board inside. I called minn kota and they said I needed a new board that costs 170 bucks. I don't want to pay that cause I paid only 300 for the motor and 2 aircraft rated gell batteries. I want to know if there is something I can do myself to make it work. I'm pretty good with electrical stuff. I can replace a relay or capacitor on the board if I knew which one to replace. I really don't need such a big trolling motor, but since I already have it I'm looking to fix it.
