new to trooling motors, minnkota 42 it think, at work can't remember, just purchased boat with bow mount foot control trolling motor, was testing, when i pressed the foot control, seemed hard to make it turn, when i tried to push down with toes of foot hard, worked for a little while, then when i pushed down it seems like it either broke a cable or sheared a key, have no control with the foot control on the direction, it just runs in circles, is it broke or fixable, fairly mechanical minded, just working nights and trying to find out before i tackle it next week, thanks for any help
