Well, I did a dumb thing last time out. Forgot to pull up TM when running boat back up on trailer. Broke the upper arm bracket which I replaced but as I was doing repair noticed that the lower arm is slightly twisted. Need to remove it and do some adjusting with a BFH. Anyone know how to take out the pivot pins so I can remove the lower arm? Looks like they would just knock out with a punch but I have made many things worse with my brash thoughts. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Well if necessity is the mother of invention, then I guess impatience is the sister-in-law of giterdone!! The outside end of the pivot is splined so I used a punch from the inside end and it came right out. Now I have to find a shop with a good hydraulic press cuz my BFH is no match for this job. The arm is a full squared channel brace and looks to be of cast aluminum. Been beatin on it for half an hour and only managed to knock some paint off. And of course it has to be a holiday weekend
