My 2 buddies and I were fishing at Lake Amistad early spring man the fish were eating the minnows like crazy. Then they slowed down all of a sudden. I asked my bud how many minnows are left he said about 2 1/2 doz. We all decided to head to the old honey hole. I remember saying everybody ready, then I punched it we took off like a bat out of h**l I heard some splashing so I looked back and I saw the minnow bucket floating in the water . We ripped the handle which was tied to the boat. When we got to the bucket the trap was open and all the minnows were gone. Never caught a fish the rest of the day.

I alwats love to let about 20 bream or shellcrackers out of the fish-basket after blasting off to a different honeyhole without getting the basket in the boat....

Hey bro. that is a great story. I can't wait to go fishing with you. See you in March with the spawn, when we don't need minnows. haha.<br /> :)

Must admit, I've filet'd a few stringers of fish too. Same day, different lakes. Now it is like remembering to put the plug in. It is something you never hope to repeat. :D
