mirrocraft bow chages

I own a mirrocraft 16 ft lake fisherman around a 1985 there is a small deck on the front of the boat were the navigation lights sits and a set of speakers i would like to remove the deck and was wondering if some one could tell me what it would do to the structural integrty of the boat?
