Hello- My husband surprised me with this aluminum approx. 13’ boat- a MirrorCraft serial# 24-2079-58- I am super excited to clean up and restore. It’s in great working condition, I emailed MirroCraft for year. Any ideas? Also do you think it’s the Ski n Troll model? Any advise or suggestions where to find more information would be a great help.

First, welcome aboard

second, the boats were made by Mirro over 50 years ago, then the name was sold to Northport in TN in about 1970 when Mirro got out of the boat business in Manitowoc in about 1970, and completely went out of business decades ago. (born and raised there).

emailing companies is useless. pick up the phone and call. however since the serial number pre-dates a HIN and the tag has Manitowoc, my guess is you wont find any information

that being said, it looks like an early ski-n-troll. Mom bought one for Dad back in 1974

what other information are you looking for? its a 14" boat, rated at 45hp, needs transom cut down a few inches to properly rig a merc 50 short shaft, however will absolutely fly with only the prop in the water with that motor.

Thank you so much.
Yes I will call MirrorCraft for sure. I was hoping to find the model and maybe an old brochure. Looking to restore and/or replace original parts/accessories -steering wheel, logos etc.
