Misses and backfires In rough water in Crossing wake

I have a 95 Wellcraft with a 3.0lx MerCruiser That runs fine until you hit rough water or awake then once to miss and backfire through the carb Any ideas?

Check to see if the wires and wiring harnesses are secure, the distributor cap is secure and the sparkplug wires aren't rubbing each other or have damaged insulation.

Ok thank you i'll try that this weekend and take her out and tested again
