Missing 94 8HP Prop Shaft Seal or What??

94 johnson gets water in the gearbox relatively fast. After refilling and taking prop off noticed a drip from the shaft housing/bushing assy. Question is that it looks like there are multiple permanent shaft bushings in the housing assy that are about 3/4" in. Is one of these the oil seal? If so shouldn't it come out rather easily. The bushings don't move and there is nothing between them and the outer part of the housing. Is it possible that I just don't have an oil seal installed?

i would get a manual if you don't have one, and reseal the complete lower.
