Missing gimbal grease fitting

Guys, I can't find the grease fitting for my gimbal bearing.. Where is it?<br /><br />1987 Mercruiser Alpha one, 260hp.<br /><br />I did grease the fitting on the couplier where the shaft slides in. But I doubt that had anything to do with the gimbal. Thanks.<br /><br />-- Joe

It's on the starboard side of the outer transom plate on the outside of the boat. 'Bout half way up the side. Don't forget to grease the hinge pins too.
