I am looking at buying a 2003 Rinker 270 Fiesta Vesta. I inspected the boat a second time today and can't find an hour meter. Anyone have any insight for me?

a lot of boats never had them put in when new.
It is best to try and do a worst case calculation.
You could always ask the seller and then double that figure.

i agree most that are there dont even work and if someone tells you 200hrs its probably 6. . . but honestly who cares about the hours if the boat is well taken care of. . its like a car 200,000 miles is scary but if you had an anal old man who "loved" his boat more than his wife then the hours pry dont matter

I would guess that since it's a B3 it's not carbureted, which means you can read the hours off the engine computer with a scan tool or diagnostic software.

Any dealer or repair shop should have one, they will probably charge you an hour's labor to scan the motor.

How important are hours?
Most of the problems I see are from aging and neglect. An engine and hull can have few hours and if not properly stored or protected can experience severe damage.
