I'm trying to help my brother in law identify a missing part on a boat he just bought. The engine is a 350 Chevy with an Edelbrock aluminum intake on it. I haven't seen this yet so I can only describe what he told me. He said that on either side of the carb on the intake there are holes machined into the sides by the heads. There are also threaded holes there as if something bolted to each side. When he runs the boat he said it looks like a little steam comes from the holes. Is there some type of breather missing from it? I'm sorry, I have no idea the year or make yet other than I think it's a late 80's.
