Missing pieces

So, I just picked up a 1987 Macgregor 25 at an auction for a couple bucks. Everything that is there is in good condition but everything is not there. I need a boom, rudder/tiller and sails. Found Sails and a rudder/tiller assembly (pricey) but no idea where to find a boom. I found places to order one but I have no idea what dimensions. Can any body help me out. Any Mac 25 owners out there with a tape measure. Also if anyone has a good place to get the sails and rudder with out braking the bank, I could use that too.

Hey Paul,
I don't have a 25 (I have a 26) but a good place to get info is on the Macgregor Owners Forum.
It's connected to Sailboat Owners Forum.
It's pretty active, and there are a lot of 25 owners on there. I think Blue Water Yachts, sells the older mac stuff. I don't know if they would have a boom though. But as you say, you can get diminsions and start from scratch.
Good luck with the project. Those are pretty popular on the west coast, and there are a few locally down here too.

Hey, Many thanks friend. Blue Water Yachts has a complete replacement boom for less than $200. Problem solved. Happy sailing....
