missing spark

Hi <br />I have a Marina 75 hp 4 cyl aprox 1984.<br />I have no spark on no. 3 cyl. plug's ok.<br />I have check the coil by taking wire from another coil and the coil giv fine spark.<br />Now there are 3 options. The Stator, Trigger or the Switch box.<br />How can I find the error ? without changing all the part's one by one.<br />I'm able to use volt/ohm meter. but so far without luck.<br />I hope you can give me some solutions I can try.<br />hvae a great day <br />Mikael Block

Michael, I can tell you without a doubt what it is....you did the homework for me....a stator will fail spark on all cylinders... atrigger will fail spark on a pair of cylinders, not just one. if the coil passes [which you said it did] then you have a failed switch box. Screw a new brain box on it and you'll have fire on all four again....

Hello ODDD1<br />I worked the engine in the weekend, and you vere right....Thank's<br />I replaced the box " brain " and poooowww spark on all 4.<br />If you come to Copenhagen, I Can't promise you big ******ed girl, but I buy you a beer.<br />Mikael
