Mitchell boats?

Have chance pick up a very clean 1994 Mitchell 17 ft. center consoul with 70 horse engine at a bargin price.I have known this boat and its owner for years and it has always been well maintained.I can not find any infor on that brand of boat.I am sure it was made in Fl.Any one have any info on that brand?
