Mitzi skiffs

Hello All,<br /> Does anyone out there know anything about "Mitzi Skiffs"? They apparently make a 15' model that is supposed to be "affordable", and I was wondering just what that meant, as well as how they are in the water. If anyone knows anything about them, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I know a little about em'..<br /><br />They're intended for shallow water, not big open water... Light weight.. Easy to power and pole (w/a push pole).. The flat bottom would probably beat ya half to death running in a chop, tho...<br /><br />Inside/interior does'nt have the fit and finish of a Hewes or a Hells Bay, but I would'nt hold that against the Mitzi.. Heck, Its a stripped down, no frills, fishing boat..<br /><br />If I were in the market for another flats boat, I'd definately give it a look-see...
