Mixing gas/oil - what is the best way?

is it better to pour the oil in the tank - then pour the gas in so that it mixes up? or should you mix in a separate container first then shake then pour into gas tank?

either way. Modern 2 cycle oils mix very easily.

I gas up before I leave for the water. Then the 1/2 hour of sloshing around while towing mixes it quite well for me.
