Mixing Outdrive Oil

HeHello,<br /><br />I'm about 4-6 ounces short of having enough of a fully synthetic outdrive oil for my '94 Cobra outdrive. I cannot locate any more this oil. I do have another brand of outdrive oil tht's a semi-synthetic. Do you think it would be okay to top it off with this semi-synthetic?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Greg

I'm not in favor of mixing different types of gear lubes together. You may get away with it...but if it were me, I'd just buy the proper quantity of one type.<br /><br />Walt
