Mixing Trailer Lights / side lights

Recently one of my EasyLoader tail lights was destroyed by vandals.. (Appears to have been kicked in)... I am thinking of replacing both incandescent tail lights with submersible LED units.. If I do this do I also have to replace the clearance lights which are not LED's or can I mix LED's/Incandescent lights on the trailer wiring harness?

you can mix them, no problem.

Absolutely can mix them. However if your like me, once you see the led's up close, you'll be converting them anyways.

I saw some similar to these at my local Fleet Farm store, yellow tagged $20.

Just make sure you have good solid ground connections.

LEDs draw less current than incandecent bulbs. The lower draw won't overcome the resistance in bad grounds.

Ask me how I know.....

Originally I just put on the LED tail lights and after about a week, I dropped the Cheddar and bought the LED side marker lights too.

My trialer looks great at night now!!
