I was looking at a Minn Kota Endura 30 lb thrust at a marina today. The guy said that it had a scale on it that showed the stae of the battery charge. I saw a scale on the top of it, but it didn't look like something that would register the charge of the battery. Can anyone tell me if it does?
Stalker

A guy in my bass club has a 40ish lb'er that has a battery check meter . . . It has a momentary puch button that gives you a rough indication - But I don't believe this feature is included on the Endura line, It starts with the Maxxum and other more expensive models.

Incidentaly, you can pick up a hand held meter by minn kota that does the exact same thing for about $14 at wal-mart.

CC

I have a 2004 40 .lb thrust Endura. It does not have a built in battery meter. I bought the MK meter at Wal-Mart like SHO-Boat suggested, except it was only $10, not $14.

I think the scale you're seeing just tells you how much run time you can expect at a certain speed. It's for show basically.

I took a closer look today and your right, it's only a meter that gives you approximate run times at various throttle. I'll pick up a meter at wally World.
Thanks
Stalker
