Baseball positions are numbered.With a runner on 1st base 6/4/3 is a ground ball to the shortstop who throws to the 2nd baseman who throws to the 1st baseman.<br /><br />Positions are;<br />1-pitcher<br /> 2-catcher<br /> 3-1st base<br /> 4-2nd base<br /> 5-3rd base<br /> 6-shortstop<br /> 7-left field<br /> 8-center field<br /> 9-right field

Actually could also be a triple play, fly ball to shortstop, runner off second with ball to second then runner off first with ball thrown to 1st baseman. Also ground ball tag by short, throw to second baseman for second out then to first baseman for third out. Numbers of postions used in scoring in official score book. k is strike out.
