Seen that email going around about sending the gas companies a message by not buying on May 15. Cute idea, but they don't care whether you buy on 15th or 16th, or 14th - unless you cut your consumption...there's no message there. Now, if we were to boycott a particular oil company for a week - a permanent hit to their bottom line - might get someone's attention.

My state is talkin bout suspending 20? / gallon tax during the summer - I kind of suspect retailers to absorb most of that.

Comrade, you must have a bunch of EVIL dirty greedy Republicans in charge down there. Don't they know that the government needs that money more than you do?
Up here in progressive enlighted Wisconsin, our brilliant Democratic Govenor knows that when gas prices are sky high you should raise the gas tax. After all, there might still be 1 or 2 states out there with higher taxes than us and we can't have that, can we?

$3.39 was the cheapest I could find in Germantown......guess I shouldve made the 10 minute ride to West Bend and saved a few cents.

Haven been below $3 for weeks......

They are too busy teaching man made global warming, villagism, diversity, tolerance and conflict resolution to teach anything useful. Besides, the law of supply and demand is a capitolism issue and the NEA does not like capitolism. It reeks too much of power to the individual and they can't abide by that.

It wouldnt matter if they did teach it.....they only teach you about supply and demand in perfectly competitive markets........which oil is not. That and students wont listen anyways.

Hoprfully this graph is telling of the next few months.........based on the direction crude $ is going you would like to think that wholesale and national average prices would start to come down too.
