I have never owned a Mobjack, but I have sailed with them. They are surprisingly fast, close in speed to a Thistle in strong winds, although the Thistle planes sooner. The Mobjack seemed pretty stable in a breeze to. Are you in the Chesapeake Bay area? Even as good as the boat is, it never got more than local attention...too bad.
