model number from serial number

Good evening. Here is the information I have:<br />model number j150hcts, serial number: j5850704<br />I know the model number is not correct. I cannot find anything with this model number. Apparently it is an 86 model. Can anyone tell me the correct model number from the serial number? Or where I can find it. Thanks.

Thank you bubbakat. I agree with you it is probably an 83. I'm asking this so I can find the proper owner's manual, service manual and parts manual. I'm required to provide the proper model number. Daniel.
