Can anyone tell me how to get the information, year, parts list, for my boat motor? The serial is j2933642, 55hp.

Yup - find your model number and post it up in the Outboard Non-Repair discussions section. The serial number isn't very useful. Should be TR[L]-10 or 55E[SL]XX.
