Monkey See, Monkey Do!

At my favorite launch ramp where I keep my boat docked, there is one main road in with two exits past the ramp. One exit goes to the parking area while the other exit takes you out of the park. <br /><br />Last weekend which was the biggest of the year because of their Christmas in July party. The main road leading to the ramp was backed up by people launching their boats. So what does this one idiot do? He goes through the parking area to get to the ramp thinking he can jump line and lauch his boat. Stupid Stupid Stupid! Since he went the route where it wasn't busy, 4 others with their rigs followed him. Now we have two lines waiting to use the ramp. The main delima to this is that now the exits are blocked and nobody can leave. GRID LOCK! <br /><br />The park rangers showed up to get things moving again. It had rained real hard for several days prior to this event so the ground was real soft. The ranger thought he would have them go through the grass to get the idiots back into the right lane to launch their boats. Well the first unit made it through okay, but the guy with the two wheel drive burried his tow to the axle. They went and got the parks tractor to pull him out but it got stuck to!<br /><br />The rangers finally got the followers of the first guy to back out to the main road where they made the wrong turn and things finally got back to normal.<br /><br />I wished I had my camera because it was a real sight to see.<br /><br />The funny thing is that I had mentioned to the park offical about them needing a DO NOT ENTER sign on the exit of the parking lot. He said for the 30 some years of being there, he had never had a problem with people going down the wrong way. Later that day he had two signs put up. One for DO NOT ENTER and the other on saying KEEP OFF THE GRASS!
