montgomery ward 5hp what year

I have picked up a montgomery ward 5 hp model# VWB-19072, serial# 46x14184. does anyone know what year this motor would be and where to get parts.

Hi basszzilla. Your motor is a 1964 model. The first 2 digits of the serial number backwards. I get parts for my Ward's motors from Twin city outboards. Phone # is 952-496-1951. They have just about anything you could need. Certain year model Wards are great motors. I have a '74 and a '56. Both run like tops and are very easy to work on. Good luck.
