montgomery ward outboard

i recently acquired an old outboard the only info i can find is that it is from 1957. it is a montgomery ward with a power bee motor.the model # is GG8960A the ser.# 75X664410. the model on the motor it self is 70019 the ser.# 6611.any one with any info would be greatly appreciated.

What the heck???? What do you mean a Power Bee? Is it something somebody cobbled together?

GG8960A is a 5hp motor built by Gale Products Division of OMC, and 1957 is correct. They are very nice motors. No power bee about it. It is a twin cylinder, water cooled motor, very similar to Evinrude and Johnson motors, but not exactly the same. Fuel mix is 24:1.
