I recently came into a Montgomery ward boat and outboard, the boat is in very good shape, the outboard however is what i'm having trouble with, it's a 55 h.p. that needs a water pump and pin. Been searching for a while, this seems to be the place to go, help!!<br />mod# VWB 52056<br />ser# 47x 20433

Hmmmm. I think that is a West Bend built engine, fishNnut. Can't ID the year but someone will show up soon and do so.<br /><br />You can probably find the parts you need at a recycler. My favorite is tcoutboard.com.<br /><br />Good luck, and welcome to iboats. <br /><br />Moving to Other Outboards.

The motor you have is a Montgomery Ward. All Model #s starting with VWB are made by Chrysler. If you need the year email me and I will send you a site that has all the info you need. You should be able to get the parts you need at Sea-way Marine in Seattle, WA. Phone is 206-937-7373 Good luck.
